- From the moment I walked in I was treated with respect. Everyone that I came in contact with was amazing. My team – Dr. Cathy Lee; Amanda O’Brien, CRNA; Alecia Burton, RN; Joan, my scrub tech; and surgeon Dr. Fayed and his resident made sure my surgery went as planned. Both my pre-op nurses (sorry didn’t catch their names due to my nerves) and my post-op nurse were all amazing. As a Cooper nurse myself it is hard being on the opposite side as a patient. - My physical therapist, Dan, has been instrumental in getting me to walk again. When I started with Dan, I could only walk a small distance while shuffling. While I have completed PT at other facilities, they did not give individualized exercises and care like Dan does and it has made all the difference. Cooper is fortunate to have Dan in their physical therapy department and my hope is that you recognize him for the difference he makes. Dan is a change maker! (Cape) May 23, 2026

- I have never had to stay in a hospital overnight (and I’ll be 80 in less than a month). From my initial experience in the ER with NURSE OF THE YEAR, Stacey, to my room nurses Janet, Janice, Lisa, and the aides, Brenda, Alison, Christina, and Gia, they certainly made it a pleasant experience.
