- My nurse, Hope, in the ER needs some kind of recognition. If it wasn’t for her the outcome may have been different. While my ER team all went above and beyond, it was Hope who realized I had blood clots in my lungs from the chemo, and rushed to get respiratory, my CAT scan, and the heparin started in record time. Her actions were the reason I didn’t need to be intubated. She also was an amazing strength for my wife and her anxiety. She cared for both of us even though the ER and her other patients were super busy. I wish there was more we could do to say thank you! We are both grateful we chose Cooper! September 26, 2023
