Congratulations to the DEI T-Shirt Contest Winners!

We want to thank everyone who participated and spent time thinking about creative ways to encapsulate our DEI journey at Cooper. And we want to thank all of the Cooper team members who took the time to review the work of the three finalists and voted to select the winning design.

Drumroll, please!

Winner: Power of Coming Together

Created by (left to right):

  • Kaelyn Godschall, PSR, Ripa Center, Voorhees
  • Christina Godschall, Telephone Operator, Camden

The concept of our design is to represent different cultures, ethnicities and beliefs through hands containing different art and jewelry which are displayed in the shape of a heart to represent inclusion, and the design is tied together by words such as diversity, equity, and inclusion in the middle. The goal of our design is to use art and jewelry to represent the beauty of differences and uniqueness, and the power of coming together.

PS: Yes, they are sisters!

Runner Up: Working and Growing Together

  • Natasha Kearney, CMA, CCA Woodbury
  • Misty Kates, CMA, CCA Woodbury

Runner Up: DEI Supporting Outcomes

Created by:

  • Michael Kirchhoff, MD, Chief Safety Officer and Chief Innovation Officer

The graphic is intended to reflect that Cooper needs all three DEI components to raise up our patients, communities, and team members. In the final art, the silhouettes would be real Cooper and team members (with their permission) that reflect DEI at Cooper, and the silhouettes could be changed to reflect important campaigns in our DEI journey.
