  • Celebrating National Nurses Week. This week, we proudly recognize and celebrate Cooper’s nurses for their unwavering commitment to patients and the communities we serve throughout southern New Jersey and beyond.   • Kangaroo-a-Thon Is Here. Cooper’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is proud to host its first-ever Kangaroo-a-Thon from May 1-15, 2025. Did you know the World Health Organization recommends skin-to-skin contact for at least the first six months for pre-term babies and three months for full-term babies?   • Cooper, Virtua, and United Way Collaborate on $5 Million Effort in Camden. South Jersey’s two biggest health systems, Cooper and Virtua, are collaborating with United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey on a four-year, $5 million effort to fight poverty in the city of Camden.   • REAL ID Update for NJ Residents. Starting TODAY, U.S. travelers should be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities. However, the Transportation Security Administration has confirmed that passengers without a REAL ID will still be allowed to fly after undergoing additional screening. Click here to learn more.   • Center for LGBTQ+ Fundraiser. Join the Cooper Foundation at the Collingswood Ballroom on June 11, 2025, at 6 p.m. for a fundraiser for Cooper’s Center for LGBTQ+ Health. To learn more, click here.  
  • PTO Sell Back. Requests must be completed through iCooper Team Member Space between May 27 and June 9, 2025. For more information, click here. Cooper Cape team members will receive information on PTO cash-out separately.
  • Fresh, Locally Grown Veggies. This summer, beginning Thursday, June 5, 2025, Rancocas Creek Farm will bring patients and team members in Camden fresh, locally sourced foods through a community-supported agriculture program. The program is open to Cooper team members on a first-come, first-served basis. There are only a few slots left, so act now. Click here to read more.  
  • Goodbye LifeImage, Hello Medicom. On May 19, 2025, we will be transitioning from LifeImage to Medicom as our new cloud-sharing platform for importing and uploading imaging exams. To ensure a smooth transition, training is required for all current LifeImage users. Click here for more information.
