Co-CEO Update – June 11, 2025

Dear Cooper Team:

We hope everyone is doing well and having a safe and healthy week. We appreciate your unwavering dedication to our patients, community, and one another. Wishing a happy Father’s Day to all who will be celebrating this weekend.

What You Should Know This Week:       

  • 20-Year Club Celebration. Last night, at the TRIAD building, we honored team members who have more than 20 years of service at Cooper or Cooper Cape. Nearly 500 team members enjoyed food, beverages, and entertainment, including special guests: Philadelphia Eagles greats Ron Jaworski, Seth Joyner, and Harold Carmichael. The special night honored our long-term team members for their dedication and loyalty that has helped make Cooper University Health Care the leading academic health system it is today. Thank you all.
  • It’s Back… Annual Mandatory Education kicks off on June 17, 2025, for all but the Cooper Cape team. You will have 90 days to complete the education – by September 17, 2025. The education is better this year—fewer modules, shorter HIPAA content, and updates tailored to your role. Cooper at Cape team members are on a different schedule and will receive separate notice.   • Cooper at Cape Among Best of Jersey Shore. Congratulations to the Cooper Cape team for receiving more top honors than any other shore-region health care organization in the 2025 Best of Jersey Shore awards.   • Thank You, Nursing Assistants. This week is National Nursing Assistants Week. We thank you for your compassion, dedication, and vital contributions you make as frontline caregivers. Thank you for all you do. For more information, click here.
  • Heroes in Action. Last Saturday, Cooper’s Community Outreach joined dedicated first responders at an EMS event to connect, share valuable information, and show appreciation for the hard work these professionals do every day to keep us safe.  Click here to read more.
  • Pride Celebration TOMORROW, Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the corner of Broadway and MLK Boulevard in Camden. Join Cooper’s second annual Pride event. Click here for more information.
  • Foreign Travel Update. The White House announced a travel ban prohibiting individuals from certain countries traveling into the United States. If you are planning to travel outside of the country, please be aware of these restrictions, which could affect your return. Click here to read more.
