Co-CEO Update – February 12, 2025

Dear Cooper Team:

We hope everyone is doing well and having a healthy and safe week. We appreciate your unwavering dedication to our patients, community, and one another.

What You Should Know This Week:

  • Super Bowl Championship Celebration Parade Details – Go Birds. The City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Eagles have announced the parade route, road closures, parking restrictions, and other details for the Super Bowl Championship Celebration on Friday, February 14, 2025. Click here for details and please plan your commute accordingly.
  • Now Open: Cooper Multispecialty Care in Camden. We are pleased to announce the grand opening of our state-of-the-art integrated care facility at 808 Market Street in downtown Camden. This new center offers a comprehensive range of health care services, including treatment for substance use disorders, primary care, psychiatry, integrated child and adolescent behavioral health, addiction services, and obstetrics and gynecological care. For more information, click here.
  • $10K Sign-On Bonus for Radiation Therapists. MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is hiring full-time radiation therapists to join the team and offering a $10K sign-on bonus now until April 13, 2025. Click here for more information.
  • Camden Lane Closures. To ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists during Project Imagine construction, the sidewalks adjacent to Cooper’s new hospital tower construction site, one lane of MLK Boulevard, and the shoulder of Haddon Avenue that runs along the hospital campus are currently closed to public traffic. Click here to learn more.
  • Cape to Cooper Email Conversion. Our Cooper Cape team members will be getting cooperhealth.edu email addresses as part of their migration to Cooper’s Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint) in March. Cooper Cape team members should have received their new cooperhealth.edu email address. If you have a caperegional.com email address and did not receive this notice, please reach out to Cape-M365-Migration@cooperhealth.edu. More information about the migration can be found on the Pulse here.
  • Super Bowl Ad – Go Birds 2. Congratulations to all our Eagles fans. Many of you saw a Cooper TV ad during the game. We just wanted you to know how that was possible. Please know that Cooper did not pay $8 million for the 30-second ad – the cost of national ads during the game. Rather, Cooper was presented with a unique opportunity to buy a significantly discounted local, Philadelphia market ad during the game. Given the millions of residents who were watching the game in our region, we decided to reallocate a portion of our existing advertising budget in favor of this opportunity to highlight all that Cooper University Health Care and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper do to serve our communities. Click here to see the ad.
