  • Cooper Receives RCBC’s Exemplary Partner Award. Cooper has been honored with the Rowan College at Burlington County’s (RCBC) Exemplary Partner Award, celebrating our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and student success. Special commendations to Antoinette Fugee, Workforce Development Consultant, and Timothy Marks, DNP, Assistant Vice President of Clinical Workforce Development and Academic Partnerships, for their work in advancing Cooper’s educational and health care initiatives.   • Cooper Graduates Inaugural Support Services Career Ladder Class. On Friday, April 11, 2025, we proudly celebrated the achievements of the first graduating cohort of our Support Services Career Ladder Program. These dedicated team members from Food and Nutrition, Environmental Services, and Patient Transport successfully passed their certification exams, marking a significant milestone in their professional growth.   • Cooper Leaders Recognized as Influencers. Congratulations to Franziska F. Jovin, MD, MMM, Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer; Annette C Reboli, MD, Dean, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University; and Christine C. Winn, PHD, FACHE, Senior Vice President and Chief Regional Officer for being named to the ROI-NJ Influencers: Women in Business 2025 list.
  • Congratulations to Nurse Residency Program Graduates. Last week, the Fall 2023 Nurse Residency cohort held their graduation ceremony. Forty-two registered nurses successfully completed the two-year program, which supports new-to-practice nurses during their first two years of clinical practice at Cooper.   • Applications Open: Linda Brand Scholarship Fund. This scholarship honors the memory of Linda Brand, a dedicated Cooper team member who spent her career at Cooper encouraging others to pursue their educational and career goals. For more information, click here. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2025.
  • Cooper Celebrated Holi. Earlier this month, the Cooper team came together to celebrate Holi—“The Festival of Colors”—one of the most popular and vibrant festivals in India and southern Asia. Participants gathered to throw colorful powders, enjoy sweets, and dance to Bollywood music. Click here to see some pictures from the event.

  • Enhancing Readiness for Military Medical Teams. Cooper’s Section of Military, Diplomatic, and Field Affairs provides advanced clinical trauma training for elite commandos and special operations forces.   • April Is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, support families, and protect the well-being of children in our community. The blue pinwheels in Cooper University Hospital’s Healing Garden are the national symbol of child abuse prevention. For more information, click here.
  • Attention Cooper Physicians and Medical Professionals. Cooper’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Department continues its speaker series with “Breaking the Cycle: Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and Anxiety in Adolescents,” on April 18, 2025. Click here to register.
