  • hAPPy National APP Week. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our advanced practice providers (APPs) for their invaluable contributions to patient care and their commitment to a collaborative, team-based approach.   • Cooper MILDAF Hosts Historical Military Medicine Excursion to Fort Mifflin and Fort Mercer. Join Cooper’s Military, Diplomatic, and Field Surgical Affairs (MILDAF) team to appreciate the great significance of the Battles of Fort Mifflin and Fort Mercer on November 15, 2024. This initiative brings together Cooper and military communities across generations, fostering a shared interest in our rich local history. Click here to register.
  • 2024 Flu Vaccination Program. New Jersey state law requires an annual flu vaccination for all individuals working in hospitals, nursing homes, or home health care agencies.   • Deadline Approaching to Nominate a Team Member for 2024 Armed Forces Person of the Year Award.To nominate a team member who has served or is currently serving in the U.S. military, click here. The deadline for nominations is Monday, September 30, 2024.
  • National Hispanic Heritage Month. Please join Cooper’s Latinos Unidos Team Resource Group in celebrating the month with Wepa Wednesdays – a delicious showcase of food from diverse Hispanic cultures available to purchase for lunch at the Camden and Cape hospital cafeterias and some of our ambulatory locations.   • Multicultural Awareness and Vendor Fair. Please join the WAVE (We All Value Everyone) multicultural team resource group on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, to enjoy international food, music, and products. Click herefor more information.
  • Kelemen Entrance Night Closings. Now through Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the Kelemen entrance at Cooper University Hospital in Camden will be closed at night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, for renovations. During the day, there will be an alternate entrance to help alleviate crowding.
  • New Episode: Out in the Crowd With Mazz and O’Dowd. The latest edition of Cooper’s podcast about team members features Steven Ross, MD, and John Porter, MD, discussing the history of Cooper’s Level I Trauma Center, as well as their shared love of Star Wars.   • Register to Vote. With the presidential election approaching, you want to make sure you’re registered to vote.
