Dear Cooper Team:

We hope everyone is having a good week. Thank you for all you are doing to care for our patients, community, and each other.

What You Should Know This Week:

  • Celebrating Black History Month. This annual month of recognition is an opportunity to highlight the many significant achievements made by Black Americans to our nation’s success. We encourage you to use Pulse+ to share your reflections during Black History Month and to test your knowledge with new trivia questions posted each week. • This Saturday is National Women Physicians Day. It marks the anniversary of the birth of Elizabeth Blackwell, MD, the very first female physician in the United States, who received her medical degree in 1849. Please join us in acknowledging and celebrating all of the extraordinary female physicians here at Cooper and across the nation. We appreciate all you do to advance medicine, teach the next generation of medical professionals, and heal our patients. Click here to read more.
