Dear Cooper Team:
We hope everyone is staying safe and warm after our first snowfall this year. Thank you for all you are doing to keep our patients, community, and each other safe.
What You Should Know This Week:
- Measles Outbreak. Last Friday, we received confirmation that a pediatric patient who visited Cooper Pediatrics at Voorhees at 6400 Main Street on January 5, 2024, had measles. Patients, visitors, and team members who were at that location on that date have been contacted. There have been 9 cases confirmed in Philadelphia and one in New Jersey. Cooper is working with the New Jersey Department of Health and Camden County Health Department and following their measles protocols. For more information on the Cooper case, click here and for measles resources and updates from the NJ Department of Health, click here.
- Honoring MLK. This past Monday, Cooper’s African American Empowerment Enterprise Team Resource Group hosted a MLK day of service food distribution event for Camden City residents. Thank you to all of you who volunteered. To see some pictures from the event, click here.
- Tax season is around the corner and the Payroll Department will be offering the option to receive W-2 forms electronically again this year. For more information, click here.
- A new badge safety alert system is coming soon and will be installed across the health system throughout the year. For more information, click here.
