Co-CEO Message – January 11, 2023

Dear Cooper Team:

What You Should Know This Week:  

  • Simple action to keep you safe at Cooper. Alert text messages are the fastest way to communicate potentially life-saving information to you in an emergency. We need your correct mobile phone number to ensure you get alert text messages. Click here to provide your correct mobile phone number. Your number will not be open to the public and will only be used by Cooper’s Emergency Alert System in emergencies or to test the network.
  • Cooper’s credit rating from Moody’s Investors Service was upgraded to A3, its highest rating ever. In November, S&P Global also upgraded Cooper’s credit rating. What does this mean? It demonstrates the success of our business strategies. Thank you for your hard work in helping us achieve this strong credit rating that will allow Cooper to borrow money at lower cost to support our mission as well as fund future growth.   • Tomorrow is National Pharmacist Day. Please join us in acknowledging and thanking our dedicated pharmacists for their invaluable contributions to patient care and ensuring safe and effective medication use. For more information, click here.
  • Trauma-informed care feedback sessions. Any team members who have had a trauma-like experience themselves or with loved ones, and has something to share with our Emergency Medicine team to help us improve trauma-informed care and our training at Cooper can provide feedback on Wednesday, January 18, and Wednesday, January 25, 2023.   • Attention, Cooper Physicians. Now is your chance to nominate an outstanding Cooper colleague for SJ Magazine’s Top Docs for Kids list. COVID Updates:

  • New Jersey reported another 1,944 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 16 confirmed deaths. For more information, click here. The CDC Community Level for Camden County is currently HIGH requiring masks in all Cooper facilities.
