Co-CEO Message – February 21, 2024

Dear Cooper Team:

We hope everyone is having a good week. Thank you for all you are doing to care for our patients, community, and each other.

What You Should Know This Week:

  • CDU Expansion. More than 5,000 square feet and new patient beds are being added to our existing clinical decision unit (CDU) to improve the patient throughput process. Kelemen Circle will be closed starting tomorrow through June 2024 to complete this project. Please click here to learn how this may affect you.
  • Cooper Gets an A+. We recently received an A+ credit rating from Fitch Ratings – the highest in our 137-year history, which means that if we borrow money, we will be able to do so at a lower rate. We want to thank all of you for your dedication to our mission that helped us achieve this credit rating. To read more, click here.
  • Wellness Incentives. Did you know that team members enrolled in Cooper’s Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey’s health plan can earn up to $20 per month in wellness incentives by tracking their workouts with the HorizonbFit program? To learn more, click here.
