- Masking and Screening Update: Thankfully, COVID-19 transmission rates continue to decline and this morning changes to our masking and symptom screening policies went into effect. For more information, click here.
- Jack Shilling, MD, MBA, Medical Director of the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute, and Shaun Rowe, PA-C, MBA, Administrative Director, were proud to show off the new Cooper Zamboni® at the Hollydell Ice Arena in Sewell, NJ. Reminders:
- On Monday, maintenance work began on the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system that services floors three through nine in Roberts Pavilion. For additional information, click here.
- Cooper team members are invited to the April 26 screening of “Peace of Mind,” an ESPN documentary featuring Riley Cote, former hockey professional who played eight seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers. Following the screening, an expert-led panel will discuss innovative neuromodulation therapies for mental health disorders and pain management. For additional information, click here. - Register for our first-ever LGBTQIA+ mixer on April 27, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., hosted by Cooper’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. To register, click here.
- Construction began at Cooper’s Cherry Hill Campus on Route 70 to update the office’s parking lot. The project is expected to be completed by April 21, 2023. During the project, team members and visitors will see signage alerting them about detours and areas where parking is restricted.
COVID-19 Updates:
- This will be our last COVID-19 Update Section in This Week at Cooper. After more than three years of play-by-play updates on COVID-19, we believe it is time to retire this section of This Week at Cooper. Of course, we will provide you any necessary updates related to COVID-19 when needed. Please continue to consult the Pulse and Weekly Rounds for COVID-19 information.
- As of noon today, New Jersey reported 456 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 2 confirmed deaths. For more information, click here.
- The CDC Community Level for Camden County is LOW. Masks are NOT required at non-clinical locations. Check the Pulse COVID-19 section every week for our current masking requirements (details here).
