We are coming to the end of another challenging year due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. This year, Cooper has experienced an unprecedented daily census in our hospital, extraordinary staffing shortages as well as steady growth.
Through it all, our Cooper team has done an excellent job working together to provide exceptional health care to those we serve. Due to your collective dedication and commitment, we have further enhanced Cooper’s reputation as a first class academic health system and our work has been recognized:
- Cooper was recognized as the top hospital in South Jersey and in the top ten in New Jersey by S. News & World Report.
- For the third year in a row, Cooper ranked among the top 5% of hospitals for Patient Safety Excellence by Healthgrades.
- Cooper was named one of America’s Best Employers by Forbes, one of the nation’s leading business magazines.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the entire executive leadership team, we want to thank you for your hard work, resilience, and loyalty. To recognize your contribution to Cooper’s tremendous success in meeting our goals, we will, once again this year, be awarding bonuses over and above our historical $500 bonus for full-time team members.
On December 3, 2021, all non-management team members will receive a bonus (provided you were a team member on November 20, 2021). The bonuses will be in the following amounts:
- Full time (including Residents & Fellows) – $1,000
- Part time (worked 1,920 hours or more) – $1,000
- Part Time and Per Diem (worked between 1,000 and 1,919 hours) – $500
- Part Time and Per Diem (worked between 500 and 999 hours) – $350
- Part Time and Per Diem (worked under 499 hours) – $200
