Dear Cooper Team:

What You Should Know This Week:

  • Another extraordinary Cooper first. MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper became the first in the world to enroll a patient in a clinical trial that uses tumor infiltrating lymphocyte therapy to treat advanced melanoma. See how Cooper is at the forefront of this breakthrough treatment here.
  • As part of our #everyBODYmoves campaign, Cooper has been participating in the Johns Hopkins Activity and Mobility Promotion to help combat any harm patients may face due to immobility during their hospital stay. To see how the program is working, click here.
  • Congratulations to Jordan Reeder, who was selected as an honoree of the Citizen CPR Foundation’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2023. Thank you, Jordan, for your work to improve awareness and outcomes for sudden cardiac arrest. To read more, click here.
  • Flu deadline extended. The deadline to receive the flu vaccine, or have an approved exemption, has been extended until 5 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023. Please click here for the remaining flu vaccine clinic dates and times.
