Co-CEO Message – September 6, 2023

Dear Cooper Team:

We hope everyone is having a good week and looking forward to the fall season at Cooper.

What You Should Know This Week:

Stay tuned for announcements about upcoming Women in Medicine Month events. For more information, click here.
  • Sepsis Awareness Month. Help save lives by raising awareness of the leading cause of deaths in U.S. hospitals – sepsis — the body’s overwhelming response to infection that can lead to tissue damage, organ failure, and death. Sepsis affects an estimated 49 million people worldwide each year. For more information about prevention and symptoms, click here.
  • National Preparedness Month. Disasters and emergencies can happen at any time. So, Cooper is helping raise awareness about how to be prepared. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, Ready.gov, and Cooper’s own Division of EMS/Disaster Medicine are valuable resources to help you stay prepared.
