- CMSRU Match Day – 100% of Students Matched. On Friday, March 17, 2023, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University fourth-year students learned their official residency “Match,” the next step in their journey to becoming practicing physicians. With an astounding 100% match rate, CMSRU students were offered residency positions at some of the nation’s most prestigious and competitive programs. Click here for more information.
- Join Cooper’s APP team for a wellness walk. All team members are invited to join Cooper’s Advanced Practice Provider Peer Connection and Support Team for a wellness walk around Cooper River Park this Sunday, March 26, 2023. For more information, click here.
- Did you know that Cooper’s neuropsychology team specializes in understanding how certain illnesses and injuries can affect the connection between a person’s brain and how that person thinks, feels, or behaves? To read more about the team and the care they provide, click here.
- Tomorrow is National Puppy Day: Have you seen the puppies on Pulse+? In honor of this day and in connection with Cooper’s PAWS for People program (which you can read about here), we invite all Cooper team members to post a picture of your favorite dog on Pulse+ for the rest of March – and tell us what makes your four-legged friend so special.
Reminders:
- Renovations to Cooper’s Pulmonary Medicine office in Voorhees began on Monday, March 20, 2023. During the renovation period, the Pulmonary office will be temporarily relocated to Cooper Specialty Center at Cherry Hill. Click here to read more.
- Construction began at Cooper’s Cherry Hill Campus on Route 70 to update the office’s parking lot. The project is expected to be completed by April 21, 2023. During the project, team members and visitors will see signage alerting them about detours and areas where parking is restricted.
- March is Breath Better, Sleep Better Month. We hope you take the time not only this month, but all year-round, to focus on getting good sleep to help maintain overall health and well-being. To read more about the importance of sleep or how Cooper can help with your sleep issues, click here.
- On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Cooper will host a blood drive in Conference Center Room 121, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To register, click here.
COVID Updates:
- Inpatient visitation re-opened. With COVID-19 cases decreasing across our region, we returned to pre-COVID-19 “green” visitation in all inpatient areas this week. Click here to read our updated visitation policy or visit the Pulse homepage. Ambulatory locations will end visitation restrictions on Monday, April 3.
- As of noon today, New Jersey reported 443 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 2 confirmed deaths. For more information, click here.
- The CDC Community Level for Camden County is MEDIUM. Masks are NOT required at non-clinical locations. Check the Pulse COVID-19 section every week for our current masking requirements (details here).
