- February is Marfan Syndrome Awareness Month. Marfan syndrome is an inherited disorder that affects connective tissue — the fibers that support and anchor organs and other structures in the body. The Marfan Foundation recently featured a blog by Cooper cardiologist Douglas Richter, MD, FACC, who has Marfan syndrome and runs Cooper’s Genetically Mediated Aortic Disease Clinic. - Call for Yoga Instructors. Are you a certified yoga or mindfulness instructor looking to get more involved in well-being efforts at Cooper? - Schwartz Center Rounds. Cooper team members who have had an experience of being a patient themselves are invited to be on a panel for the February 22, 2023, Schwartz Center Rounds, “When the Healthcare Worker Becomes the Patient.” For more information, click here.
- LGBTQ+ Centered Care Education Training Available. To maintain our status as a Top Performer in LGBTQ+ Health, all Cooper team members are invited to participate in the free educational training. COVID Updates:
- As of noon today, New Jersey reported another 907 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 10 confirmed deaths. For more information, click here.
- The CDC Community Level for Camden County is currently back to HIGH. Masks are required at non-clinical locations. Check the Pulse COVID-19 section every week to know our current masking requirements (details here).
