- Growing With Cooper – Marcus Worlds. In this new series, we are highlighting team members who have used Cooper resources to grow their careers. - Cooper and Cape Regional Update. There was public hearing on the transaction on Monday with representatives from the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office and the New Jersey Department of Health. The public comments from those in attendance were all positive. Next, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office and New Jersey Department of Health will make a recommendation and a Superior Court judge will provide the final approval. If all goes well, the transaction could close in May.
- Cooper named a Surgical Quality Partner by the American College of Surgeons. We extend our gratitude to all who played a role in achieving this prestigious recognition. - Attention Cooper doctors. The online deadline to nominate an outstanding Cooper colleague for New Jersey Monthly’s 2024 Top Doctors list is Sunday, February 25, 2024. To cast your vote, click here. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by February 14, 2024. Only physicians may vote, and must enter their medical license number.
- Spread the word. Cooper is once again offering an annual summer extern program for students pursuing a nursing degree. Applications will be accepted through February 16, 2024. The program begins June 17 and ends August 3, 2024. Click here for more details.
- Center for Humanism Narrative Medicine Workshop. All team members are welcome to join on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from noon to 1 p.m. at CMSRU. Registration is not required, and lunch will be provided. For more information, click here.
- Cooper Story Slam is back. Hear storytellers share their experiences of “When the Unexpected Happens” on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at noon in the CMRSU Auditorium. For more information, click here.
